John O'Shea is an experienced Operations Engineering Manager at Apollo Fire Detectors, having begun this role in February 2012 after various positions within the company. O'Shea has leveraged an MBA in Strategic Leadership to cultivate a psychologically safe environment fostering innovation. Prior to the current role, O'Shea served as Principal Manufacturing Engineer, overseeing a £1m automation project, and as Manufacturing Project Engineer, focusing on enhancing product development processes. Previous experience includes roles at Snell as a Quality Engineer, where communication improvements across sites enhanced manufacturing quality, and at EADS Astrium as a Manufacturing Engineer and Production Test Engineer, responsible for satellite payload components. O'Shea's career began in the Royal Navy, where leadership and maintenance expertise were developed. Academic credentials include an MBA from the University of Portsmouth and Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
