Benjamin Coenen

Benjamin Coenen has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Benjamin is currently a Rust Sr Staff Software Engineer at Apollo GraphQL since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Cosmian from November 2020 to January 2022, where they focused on developing a cryptographic product based on Multiparty Computing (MPC) and wrote a compiler in Rust for MPC programs.

Before joining Cosmian, Benjamin worked as a Software Engineer at IOmentum, Snap Inc., and Tweag I/O in 2020. At IOmentum, they contributed their skills as a software engineer from May to November 2020. Similarly, at Snap Inc., they held the position of a Software Engineer from May to November 2020. During their time at Tweag I/O, Benjamin worked as a Software Engineer from February to May 2020.

Moving further back in their career, Benjamin worked at OVHcloud for five years, starting as a Software developer UX R&D from August 2015 to July 2017 and later transitioning to the role of a Software developer from August 2017 to February 2020. Prior to that, they held a brief position as a Teacher at HELHa in October 2015.

Additionally, Benjamin gained experience as a Software Developer at Geophyle from September 2014 to July 2015. Before that, they worked as a Software Developer at 42 School in July and August 2014 and completed an internship at SENSY S.A. from January to June 2014.

Benjamin Coenen has a diverse education history. Benjamin obtained their Software Engineering degree from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they attended Polytech Lille from 2014 to 2015, where they obtained a degree in Computer Sciences, Microelectronics, and Automatic Engineering.

Before pursuing higher education, Benjamin earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Informatics from Haute Ecole Louvain en Hainaut from 2011 to 2014. During this time, they specialized in the field of Technology Information Systems. Benjamin'searliest educational experience was at Institut notre dame de Thuin from 2006 to 2010, where they studied Sciences.

In addition to their formal education, Benjamin has also obtained several certifications. Benjamin received certification in Angular js from SFEIR in July 2015 and completed a MongoDB Developer certification offered by MongoDB, Inc. in the same month. Benjamin also obtained a certification in Bluemix cloud from IBM in March 2015. Prior to that, Benjamin became a Certified Cisco Network Associate (CCNA) in April 2013 and completed the Cisco IT Essentials certification in February 2013.
