Syed Owais Kousar

Syed Owais Kousar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Syed Owais started their career in 2001 as a Sales Officer at J.K Tyre & Industries Ltd., where they focused on sales and market feedback. Syed Owais then joined Apollo Tyres Ltd. as a Territory In Charge, responsible for managing sales and claim inspection of tires. In 2005, they moved to J.K Tyre & Industries Ltd. as a Sr. Sales Officer, handling government and para military accounts.

In 2008, Syed took on the role of General Manager at Alphaa MEA General Trading L.L.C, where they were responsible for all sales to several Middle Eastern countries. Syed Owais was later promoted to Assistant Vice President Sales at Apollo International Ltd in 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Export Sales Manager at Moh'd Al Refai General Trading Co. L.L.C and as the Head of Export Sales at Melangor Pte. Ltd. (Birla Tyres) from 2016 to 2019.

Throughout their career, Syed has gained comprehensive experience in sales management, export sales, and general management, with a focus on the tire industry.

Syed Owais Kousar completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Marketing Management & HRD from the University of Kashmir. Syed Owais attended the university from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they obtained the degree of S.P. Collage Srinagar from Govt; HSS Magam in the field of Non Medical, during the academic year of 1993 to 1994. Additionally, Syed Owais Kousar pursued another Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing & HR from the University of Kashmir, although the specific start and end years for this degree are not provided.
