Ajay Jain

Ajay Jain has a diverse work experience starting in 1991 as an Asst. Engineer Electrical at Indian Seamless Steels and Alloys Ltd, where they were responsible for various electrical installations and commissioning tasks. Ajay then transitioned to a Sr. Engineer role at Amex Carbonates and Chemicals Ltd in 1993. Currently, they hold the position of Divisional Head - Projects at Apollo Tyres Ltd since 1996, where they have progressed to the role of Head - Project Engineering.

Ajay Jain has a diverse education history, starting from their SSC & HSC at A.K National Highschool in Khamgaon from 1978 to 1985. Ajay then pursued a Diploma in Electrical Engineering at Government Polytechnic Khamgaon from 1985 to 1988. Ajay continued their education with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical from Walchand College of Engineering (A Govt. Aided Autonomous Institute) in SANGLI-M.S from 1988 to 1991. Later on, they completed a DIM PGDBM program at Indira Gandhi National Open University, and most recently, in 2020-2021, Ajay earned a PGPDP on Energy conservation & Climate Action from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology in the field of Energy & Environment Management. Additionally, in 2021, they obtained the CII Certified Professional for Resource efficiency and environment sustainability certification from CII Godrej Green Business Centre.
