Axelle Simpson

Axelle Simpson, CIA, serves as Principal - Sarbanes Oxley at Apollo Global Management Inc. since September 2019. Prior to this role, Axelle spent over a decade at Marsh & McLennan Companies, where responsibilities included leading global SOX initiatives as a Financial Controls Senior Manager and Controls Advisory Group Leader, as well as overseeing financial compliance and internal controls at Mercer from 2000 to 2019. Axelle's experience also encompasses conducting extensive audits across various sectors during a tenure at Marsh & McLennan Companies from 1995 to 2000. Axelle holds a European Business degree from KEDGE Business School and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in European Studies from the University of Portsmouth.
