John Golden is currently the Global Head of Financial Regulation and a Partner at Apollo Global Management, Inc. Since 2022, they have been leading financial regulatory practices. Prior to this, John served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Athene from 2019 to 2023, where they also held other senior legal roles. With earlier experience at Athene Asset Management LLC and IBM, John earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Santa Clara University and a Doctor of Law from UCLA School of Law.
