Sam Rugunda

Sam Rugunda is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in project and infrastructure finance, having served as a Principal at Apollo Global Management, Inc. since May 2022. Prior to this role, Sam worked at Citi from June 2009 to May 2022, where the progression included positions as Director, Vice President in both Project & Infrastructure Finance and Private Placements, as well as Associate and Analyst roles focused on Loan Structuring and Syndication. Sam holds a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) in International Economic Policy and Management from Columbia University, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics and Applied Statistics from Connecticut College, and an International Baccalaureate from UWC-USA.
