Séamus McElearney

Séamus McElearney currently serves as Principal and Global Head of Corporate Security at Apollo Global Management, Inc., since November 2023, where responsibilities include leading Global Safety & Security programs across over 30 locations. Prior to this role, Séamus held the position of Senior Vice President and Director of Corporate Security at Flagstar Bank from May 2019 to October 2023, focusing on the bank's corporate security strategy and fraud investigations. Séamus has a distinguished career at the FBI from February 1998 to April 2019, progressing through various leadership roles, including Acting Assistant Special Agent in Charge, managing over 325 investigators, and leading high-profile investigations in organized crime and violent crime. Previous experience includes auditing roles at Credit Agricole Indosuez, AIG, and River Bank America. Séamus earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Iona University and has completed extensive training at the FBI Academy and in various FBI training programs.
