Ayaz Pathan

Dr. Ayaz Pathan joined ApolloMD in 2007. Since that time, he has held various leadership positions for the organization including Medical Director and currently, Regional President. As a life-long North Carolina resident, Dr. Pathan utilizes his knowledge and expertise in operations and flow management with ApolloMD’s North Carolina partner hospitals. In 2014, he was given the first annual ApolloMD “Medical Director of the Year” award.

Dr. Pathan earned his bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, N.C., as well as a master’s in business administration and medical degree from East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C. Dr. Pathan completed his emergency medicine residency at Emory University in Atlanta.

Dr. Pathan is also currently a North Carolina Medical Examiner and is an Adjunct Associate Professor at East Carolina University Division of Health Sciences.
