2. Startup Studio Entrepreneur at FedTech from April 2020 to July 2020. Rom was selected from a competitive pool of applicants to participate in FedTech Startup Studio. Their responsibilities included market validation and collaboration with Oakridge national lab to commercialize technology through the Tech Transfer Office at Oakridge.

3. Stealth Mode @ Venture Initiation Program at The Wharton School from January 2020 to June 2020.

4. Security R&D Team Lead at Israel Prime Minister's Office - Cyber Division from June 2018 to January 2020.

5. Security Researcher at Israel Prime Minister's Office - Cyber Division from April 2017 to June 2018.

6. Security R&D Course Director at Israel Prime Minister's Office - Cyber Division from September 2016 to April 2017.

Rom Carmel completed an MBA Exchange Program in Business Innovation and Technology at The Wharton School in 2020. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2020, Rom attended Tel Aviv University where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation. Their undergraduate studies were also done at Tel Aviv University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from 2010 to 2013.
