Christine Hong is the Founder and CEO of Cakeshop, a commerce-enablement platform for creators to monetize their expertise. Christine started the company in September 2020. As the CEO, Christine is responsible for leading and managing the operations of Cakeshop. Prior to founding Cakeshop, Christine worked as the Technology Co-Chair for Harvard Alumni for Fashion, Luxury, and Retail starting in January 2021. In this role, they focused on building a diverse community of Harvard alumni with an interest in the fashion, luxury, and retail industries. Christine also has experience with venture capital, having participated in the Female Founders Track at Dorm Room Fund in June and July 2019. Additionally, they have worked as a Global Gateway Intern at Silicon Valley Bank, a Business Development Intern at Pison, and a Wintern at Mighty AI. Christine has also gained research experience as a Summer Research Intern at Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston University School of Medicine.

Christine Hong attended Noble and Greenough School from 2011 to 2015, where they completed their secondary education. Following that, they enrolled at Harvard University from 2015 to 2019, earning an AB degree in Neurobiology.
