Earlier in their career, Eyal served as the Head of Pharmaceutical Services and Clinical Laboratories at Hillel Yaffe Medical Center from January 2007 to October 2012.

Eyal Schwartzberg completed their Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree in Pharmacy at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd in 1996. Eyal then pursued their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Evidence Based Pharmacotherapy at Aston University from 1999 to 2001. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Health system management from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev between 2005 and 2010.
