App Team Carolina
Alec Nipp is an accomplished undergraduate researcher and software developer currently at Neuro Image Research and Analysis Laboratories, focusing on Python software development for diffusion tensor image analysis. Simultaneously, Alec serves as Chief Executive Officer and iOS Learning Team Lead for App Team Carolina, where responsibilities include curriculum development in SwiftUI and managing organizational growth. Previous experiences include a Software Engineer Intern position at Principal Financial Group, developing an integrated LLM assistant using AWS technologies, and a Software Engineering Intern role at CareYaya, designing an LLM-based service for elderly adults. Alec is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Neuroscience at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill after attending the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics.
