App Team Carolina
Ciya Joseph is an aspiring iOS Developer currently serving in multiple roles at App Team Carolina since January 2022, including Chief Operating Officer and iOS Trainee, where Ciya has enhanced skills in SwiftUI and Xcode through various development projects. As a Software Engineer Intern at Genesys since May 2023 and previously a Teaching Assistant at Girls Who Code, Ciya has contributed to education in technology. Prior experience includes working as a Programming/Robotics Instructor at Zebra Robotics and involvement in outreach for Pearl Hacks, an initiative aimed at supporting women and non-binary individuals in computer science. Ciya is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, expected to graduate in May 2025, and is a graduate of Panther Creek High School.

The mission of App Team Carolina is to create a collaborative space for UNC students to design, build, and release apps for Apple platforms. App Team Carolina's multi-faceted development process aims to leverage its individual skillsets while encouraging cooperation among team members with different levels of experience.
