App Team Carolina
Nicholas Sanaie is an undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Statistics, and Analytics, with an anticipated graduation date of June 2026. Nicholas has gained extensive experience as a Year-Round Software Development Intern at SAS and is currently an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the UNC-NLP Lab, focusing on machine-generated narrative consistency under the guidance of a faculty advisor. In addition, Nicholas serves as the Director of Technical Enrichment for Kappa Theta Pi, educating peers on software engineering skills, while also working as a Backend Software Developer for App Team Carolina on a personal finance app called Centible. Further experience includes full-stack development for the CS+Social Good initiative, leading product management teams for local startups, and previous roles in web and IT support, showcasing a diverse skill set in software development and project management.
