Elias Hage

Elias Hage has held various roles in the business sector since 2003. Elias began their career in 2003 as a Staff Accountant at Ernst & Young (EY), where they supported audit teams in conducting financial statement audits and reviews in accordance with international auditing standards and U.S. GAAP. In 2006, they took on the role of Teaching Assistant, Advanced Auditing at the University of Ottawa. Elias returned to EY in 2005 as a Staff Accountant, and in 2007 was promoted to Senior Manager. In 2017, Elias became the CEO of App8, a company that works with food and beverage establishments across North America to create exceptional digital dining experiences and increase profits.

Elias Hage obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) with Honors in Accounting from the University of Ottawa in 2006. Elias then obtained their Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) designation from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) in November 2010. In October 2011, Hage obtained their Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation from ISACA. Finally, in May 2015, they obtained their Project Management Professional (PMP) designation from the Project Management Institute.
