Dr. Aiko Malynda Maurer began their career in 2011 as the CEO/Principal of HOPE for Hyndman Charter School. In 2015, they moved to Appalachia Intermediate Unit 08 to become the Director of Innovation, Incubation, and Development/CEO CPDLF.

Dr. Aiko Malynda Maurer completed their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Administration and Leadership from IUP between 2012 and 2017. Dr. Aiko Malynda also holds a Principal Certification from IUP.
