Nicole Zussman

Nicole Zussman currently serves as the President and CEO of the Appalachian Mountain Club since December 2022 and has been an advisor at Gina's Collective since April 2018, where mentorship on business and HR issues is provided to founder CEOs. Previously, Zussman held the position of Chief People Officer at Rue Gilt Groupe from September 2017 to June 2022, overseeing the people function for the e-commerce portfolio. Zussman’s extensive background in human resources includes senior roles at Condé Nast from January 2012 to September 2017, where responsibilities spanned talent acquisition and organizational strategy, and earlier positions as VP of Human Resources at YES Network and World Wrestling Entertainment. Zussman's career began in human resources management with Federated Merchandising Group and Federated Department Stores between 1994 and 2000. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Maryland and a BA in International Studies from the University of Miami.
