Cynthia Foster

Cynthia Foster is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in digital strategy and writing. Currently serving as a Digital Strategist for the Appalachian Regional Commission since 2023, Cynthia is also a self-employed Communications Consultant since 2017. Previous roles include Senior Writer and Communications Manager at the University of California, Davis from 2019 to 2023, and Communications Manager at the Women's Foundation California from 2016 to 2018. Prior experience encompasses a Communications Manager position at Equal Rights Advocates from 2013 to 2016 and various roles at The Recorder from 2007 to 2013, including Reporter and Web Editor. Cynthia holds a BA in Political Science and English from the University of California, Davis.
