Nathan Nipper has an extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Nathan started their career as a Manager at Emory Healthcare in 1997 and later joined Piedmont Healthcare as a Director in 1999. In 2006, they became the Chief Operating Officer at Piedmont Newnan Hospital, a role they held until 2015. From 2015 to 2022, Nathan served as the Chief Operating Officer at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. Currently, they are the Chief Operating Officer at Appalachian Regional Healthcare System.
Nathan Nipper has a diverse education history. Nathan began their academic journey at Young Harris College from 1989 to 1991, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management. Nathan then continued their studies at The University of Georgia from 1991 to 1994, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a specialization in Finance. Following this, Nathan pursued higher education at Georgia State University, completing their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from 1994 to 1996.
