Joshua Foster is a GIS Specialist with extensive experience in geographic information systems, currently serving the Appalachian Trail Conservancy since August 2014. Prior roles include impactful work at Leidos, where automation of geo-processing tasks was a primary responsibility, and a data conversion project at Aerotek utilizing FME. Joshua's earlier experience includes an internship at the New York State Department of Health, focusing on website updates and data management, and a leadership position at the Adirondack Mountain Club, overseeing hiking trail projects. Joshua holds a Master of Arts in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from the University at Albany and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
