Mary Hodges

Mary Hodges is an experienced development professional currently serving as the Associate Director of Development for Annual Giving at the Appalachian Trail Conservancy since November 2023. Previously, Mary held the position of Grants Officer at the Community Foundation Serving Western Virginia from December 2021 to September 2023, and prior to that, served as the Director of Development at Good Samaritan Hospice, Inc. from December 2015 to December 2021. Additional experience includes roles as Development Coordinator & Office Manager at West End Center for Youth, Inc., Development Coordinator at Roanoke Valley SPCA, and an Americorps VISTA position focused on Event Planning and Marketing at The Advancement Foundation. Mary’s early career included an internship in Special Events and Public Relations with the Town of Duck, North Carolina. Mary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation, Parks, & Tourism with a concentration in Special Events and Tourism Management from Radford University.
