Matias Apparcel

Matías has vast experience advising Chilean and foreign clients on a wide variety of corporate, financial and tax matters. He has acted as legal counsel in mergers, acquisitions and capital increases of technology companies in the region.

He previously worked as an associate lawyer in the area of entrepreneurship and new business at Philippi, Prietocarrizosa, Ferrero DU & Uría and was a member of Fen Labs, part of the Fen Ventures fund.

Matías is a director of the Chile-Portugal Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Chilean-Korean Chamber of Commerce.

He also serves as director of several Latin American technology-based companies and is a mentor and judge of the Start-Up Chile (CORFO) and Parallel 18 (Puerto Rico) programs.

Matías is a founding member of FINTLEX, an alliance of specialized legal firms in the Fintech industry.
