Ekta Kamran

Ekta Kamran currently serves as the Executive General Manager at Apparel Group since December 2020, following a strategic role as Chief of Strategy at Future Retail Ltd. in Mumbai from December 2017 to December 2020, where exceptional business growth in the non-apparel fashion category was achieved. Prior experience includes serving as the Vice President and Trading Head at Shoppers Stop from September 2005 to October 2017, where multiple promotions were awarded for managing diverse apparel and non-apparel portfolios. Earlier roles include Senior Category Manager at Trent Ltd. during the launch of Star Bazaar and Head of Category for Private Label at Globus stores, significantly contributing to private label success. Ekta holds a Master's degree in Senior Executive Leadership from Harvard Business School and a PGDBM from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, along with a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from the University of Lucknow.
