Lewis Perkins has accumulated a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Lewis began their career at the High Museum of Art in a development role. Lewis then transitioned into the field of internet consulting and strategy at marchFIRST, where they led cross-functional client teams and implemented online management systems. Lewis also worked as an account manager at 360i, overseeing online marketing campaigns for major clients.

In 2005, they joined The Clean Air Campaign as a development director, where they played a key role in building new business and corporate partnerships to improve air quality. Lewis later became the director of sustainable strategies at Mohawk Industries/Dal-Tile, where they developed sustainability and corporate social responsibility programs for the commercial carpeting company.

Lewis's passion for sustainability led him to become the president of the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute, where they guided product manufacturers and designers in making safe and healthy products. Lewis also served as the president of the Apparel Impact Institute, accelerating sustainability initiatives in the apparel industry.

In addition to their other roles, Lewis worked as an advisor for Circular Systems SPC and SellHound, focusing on sustainable practices. Lewis also founded New House, LLC, where they served as a sustainability strategist and developed CSR and sustainability strategies for Fortune 500 companies.

Lewis Perkins attended Leon High School in Tallahassee, Florida from 1984 to 1989. Lewis then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Art History and Business from Washington and Lee University, graduating in 1993. Later, Lewis completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing at Emory University - Goizueta Business School from 1998 to 2000.
