Valentina Marioli has a strong background in software development and research. Valentina started their career as a Web programmer at WEDOIT s.a.s. from November 2005 to January 2008. Valentina then worked as a Web programmer at Forinicom s.r.l. from September 2009 to September 2010. Valentina pursued their Master's degree and was a Master's candidate at the Swedish Institute of Computer Science (SICS) from September 2010 to July 2011, where they focused on designing and implementing a broadcast protocol using the Virtual Synchrony paradigm. Afterward, Valentina joined CNR, Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, as a Graduate Fellow from March 2012 to October 2017. During their time there, they were part of a research team involved in multiple projects, with their research focusing on data integration in biodiversity and environmental domains. Valentina's most recent role is as a Software Developer at Apparound since October 2017.
Valentina Marioli obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Università degli Studi di Perugia. Valentina then pursued a Master's degree in Computer and Information Sciences, General at Università di Pisa. Later on, Valentina enrolled at Uppsala University, where they completed another Master's degree in Computer Science.
