Scott Wallace

Scott Wallace has a strong background in software development and architecture. Scott is currently working as the Lead Architect at AppBind, where they have been since 2019. In this role, they have helped the company scale and deliver software in the cloud.

Prior to joining AppBind, Scott worked at Pearson VUE for 10 years, starting in 2009. During their time there, they served as an Enterprise Architect and was responsible for architecting and migrating core platforms to a microservice-based architecture. Scott also developed a reference architecture and software components that were reused across all corporate projects.

Before their time at Pearson VUE, Scott was the Director of Application Architecture and OMS Development at iFulfillment / Innotrac Corporation from 2000 to 2009. Scott led the construction of a custom e-Commerce application and played a key role in the successful launch of the business.

Scott's career began at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) in 1986, where they worked as a Development Manager and Architect. Scott was responsible for designing and developing client/server products, including Sales Force Automation and Expert Configurator.

Prior to joining Andersen Consulting, Scott also worked at Systems and Computer Technology (SCT) (now Infor) from 1995 to 2000 as a Development Manager and Architect. Scott played a key role in the development and growth of the Adage ERP software suite.

Scott Wallace attended Purdue University from 1982 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science. In addition, they obtained certifications including the C100DEV: MongoDB Certified Developer Associate Exam from MongoDB, Inc. in December 2015, and the MongoDB Associate Developer certification from MongoDB in December 2015.
