Heath Capps

Heath Capps has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Heath began their career as an Account Executive at Qualtrics Labs in 2012, where they worked under a generalist sales model, responsible for finding and acquiring new clients. In 2013, they joined InsideSales.com, initially as an Enterprise Business Development Representative, then as a Mid-Market Business Development Representative, and finally as an Account Executive. Heath consulted with VP of Sales and C-level Management to increase contact rates and improve sales revenue using InsideSales.com software solutions.

In 2014, Capps attended Salt Lake Community College as a Pre-med student. Heath later joined HealthSouth in 2015 as a Patient Sitter. Heath also worked as an Instructor at Phlebotomy Training Specialists, training individuals seeking phlebotomy certification.

In 2016, Capps transitioned to O.C. Tanner as an Enterprise Account Executive, consulting with VP and C-level executives in the HR department to create employee appreciation and recognition programs. Heath focused on targeted enterprise companies and provided coaching for effective program implementation.

From 2017 to 2018, Capps worked as an Enterprise Sales Development Representative at inContact. In 2018, they moved to Heap as a Manager of Business Development, where they managed business development activities until 2020.

Starting in 2020, Capps joined Proofpoint as a Manager of Business Development, responsible for developing and managing business partnerships. In 2022, they joined Appcues as the Head of Business Development and later took on the role of Interim Director of Sales in 2023.

Overall, Capps has demonstrated their expertise in business development, sales, and consulting throughout their career, with a focus on driving revenue and implementing effective strategies and programs.

Heath Capps completed their education in a chronological order. Heath first attended the University of Utah from 2008 to 2011, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology and Sociology. Following that, they pursued further studies at Salt Lake Community College from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies. Prior to their college education, Heath attended Hillcrest High School from 2001 to 2004 and received their High School diploma. Apart from their academic qualifications, Heath also obtained a few additional certifications. In January 2020, they completed the Command of the Message Sales Training course offered by Force Management. More recently, in December 2022, they obtained various certifications from Outreach, namely Outreach Closing Specialist, Outreach Manager Specialist, and Outreach Prospecting Specialist.
