Janie Willén started their work experience in 2013 as an intern at Rare, where they worked on special projects. In 2016, they joined InnoCentive as a Program Manager and stayed with the company until 2018. Since 2019, Janie has been working at Appear Here, initially as a Full Stack Engineer and later as an Engineering Lead.
Janie Willén attended Le Wagon in 2019 for a Fullstack Coding Bootcamp. Prior to that, they completed their Master's Degree in MA Climate Change: History, Culture, Society from King's College London from 2015 to 2016. Janie also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Harvard University, which they obtained between 2010 and 2014, with a major in History of Art and Architecture and a secondary field in Economics.
