Robert Meyers

Robert Meyers is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communications and public affairs. Currently serving as a columnist for Appen Media Group since May 2022, Meyers focuses on local history for publications such as Milton Herald and Alpharetta/Roswell Herald. Previously, Meyers held prominent roles at Scientific Atlanta (now Cisco) from 1989 to 2000 as Vice President of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations. From 1983 to 1989, Meyers worked as the Director of International Public Affairs at Allied Signal (now Honeywell), and from 1963 to 1983, Meyers served as a diplomat and Foreign Service Officer with the US Foreign Service. Meyers earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Colorado (1956-1961) and a Master of Arts in Political Science from UCLA (1961-1962).
