Our goal as researchers is to develop tools that will aid in the diagnosis of burn injuries in real-time in mass-casualty situations. 

ApperceptMD is a medical device company developing machine learning solutions to improve burn injury depth diagnosis. We came together to close the gaps that ubiquitous systems have created related to the earliest stage of healing: diagnosis. 

The lack of user-friendly, accurate, efficient diagnostic systems, especially without some level of expert input, has led to sub-optimal healing results for burn patients irregardless of injury mechanism or location. 

Our mission is to improve patient outcomes by advancing diagnostic tools that can be utilized in any situation, from the battlefield to the hospital.
