Toby Hilliam (Skilton) is an accomplished entrepreneur with a strong background in founding and leading innovative businesses across various sectors. Currently serving as Founder and CEO of Appetise since January 2021, Toby focuses on delivering vital shopper insights for FMCG companies through a suite of user-friendly products. Previously, Toby founded and successfully exited Mutu, originally conceived as “airbnb for bikes” before evolving into a commercial asset management platform. With experience as a Park Ranger at UKUTULA Lodge & Game Reserve and as a Business Development Manager at Topdeck Travel, Toby has also contributed to social and environmental initiatives as a World Economic Forum Global Shaper. The entrepreneurial journey began with founding Scarfie Repairs, a service for student accommodations, following a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Tourism and Management from the University of Otago.
