Girah Chua has a diverse work experience starting as a Software Engineer Intern at Orange and Bronze Software Labs in 2012. In 2013, Girah worked as a Research and Development Engineer at NetworkLabs, Inc., where they took on management roles such as Scrum Master, Internal Code officer, and Fault Coordinator. From 2014 to 2015, Girah was an Engineer at Samsung, providing software-level support for Android projects and participating in ideation and innovation projects. At Nokia, from 2015 to 2018, Girah worked as a Research and Development Engineer and Subject Matter Expert for the 3G project. They also served as a Product Owner and Scrum Master. Additionally, Girah was a Product Owner and R&D Line Manager, responsible for managing teams' resources and performance at Nokia. From 2020 to 2022, Girah worked at Save-On-Dev.com as a Senior Project Manager and Scrum Master, implementing process changes to improve work efficiency and output. Currently, Girah is a Project Manager at Appetiser Apps.

Girah Chua completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines Diliman, from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications from LinkedIn and CertiProf. In July 2020, they earned the following certifications: PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master, Managing Project Stakeholders, Managing Virtual Teams, Project Management Simplified, and Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate (SFPC).
