Simon Jose Buri, CTFL

Simon Jose Buri has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Simon Jose currently works as a Project Manager at Appetiser Apps, where they ensure the successful delivery of projects and handles client communication. Previously, Simon worked as a Scrum Master at Indra, where they facilitated and implemented the Scaled Agile Framework. Simon Jose also worked at Nokia, where they held multiple roles, including Domain Owner, Domain Fault Coordinator, and Scrum Master. In these roles, they focused on quality analysis, defect coordination, and leading agile development processes. Simon's earlier experience includes working as a Software Test Engineer II at KYOCERA Document Solutions Development Philippines, Inc. and as an On-the-Job Trainee at the National Computer Center.

Simon Jose Buri obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering from the University of San Carlos, where they studied from 2007 to 2013. Additionally, they hold several certifications, including Lean Foundations and Learning Lean IT from LinkedIn, obtained in June 2020. Simon Jose also obtained the Test Automation Foundations certification from LinkedIn in March 2020. In December 2017, Buri obtained the ISTQB - Certified Tester Foundation Level certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board. Simon Jose also holds the Civil Service Commission - Professional Level certification from the Civil Service Commission, obtained in May 2015. Moreover, Buri obtained the Certified SAFe® 4 Scrum Master certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in October 2018. In July 2016, they completed the Occupational First Aid Training (OFAT) & Basic Life Support (BLS) & Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for Lay Rescuers course at the Philippine Red Cross. Lastly, Buri holds an EF SET English Certificate with a proficiency level of C2 (Proficient) from the EF Standard English Test (EF SET).
