Mike Meyer has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Mike started their career as an independent consultant in 1990 and continued in that role until 2007. From 2005 to 2010, they worked at Walt Disney Internet Group, where they served as a Manager of Mobile Technology and later as a Sr. Technical Delivery Manager. Mike managed various infrastructure projects and streamlined production processes for mobile content delivery and applications.
In 2010, Mike joined Retail Navigator as a consultant, developing iOS applications and advising the company on mobile strategy in the action sportswear and crafting industries. From 2011 to 2012, they worked at Disney Mobile as an iOS Platform developer, creating iOS client libraries for mobile gaming platforms.
From 2012 to 2016, Mike worked as a consultant at Michael Donohue and Associates, where they specialized in prototyping and technical integration for a major media client's Digital Signage Initiative. During this time, they also built an iOS application for parsing and displaying NewsML-G2 content from XML feeds.
In 2013, Mike joined NuORDER Inc. as a Senior iOS Developer. Mike was responsible for developing and maintaining iPad enterprise applications for a fashion wholesale marketplace platform. These apps enabled fashion sales reps and buyers to conduct business at trade shows, even in poor network conditions.
Mike returned to Symantec in 2016, where they served as a Senior iOS Developer until 2017. Following that, they joined Appetize (now part of SpotOn) as a Senior iOS Developer, where they are currently employed.
Mike Meyer attended Purdue University from 1978 to 1982, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Mike also received additional certifications in "How to Be More Inclusive" and "How to Use LinkedIn Learning" from LinkedIn in November 2021.
