Gabriel Ciuloaica is an experienced technology leader and co-founder at AppFactor, serving as CTO since January 2023. With a strong background in software consulting from April 2012 to January 2023, Gabriel specializes in software architecture, microservices, event sourcing, and CQRS, as well as software design and development in Scala, Java, and Rust. Previous roles include Mobiles Technical Lead at Betfair, where the focus was on back-end services and client-side app prototyping, and various positions at Nokia, ranging from Project Manager/Technical Lead to Senior R&D Manager and Engineering Manager. Gabriel also held the title of Engineering Manager at Intellisync Romania, leading a development team responsible for design specifications and project control. Gabriel holds a Master's degree in Component Based Programming from Babes-Bolyai University and a certification in Project Management Framework from the Project Management Institute.
