Thomas Hesselberg has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Thomas currently serves as the Head of Developer Success at Appfarm, where they are responsible for improving and expanding the Appfarm ecosystem. Prior to Appfarm, Thomas worked as a Solution Engineer at the same company, where they were involved in digitalization projects for clients such as Virke, Tine, Høyer, and Feiring Bruk. Thomas also has experience working at Spark NTNU, where they served as a Startup Advisor and Product Manager. As a startup advisor, they provided guidance to students on how to commercialize their business ideas. As a product manager, they had overarching responsibility for a web application used to manage information about the businesses Spark mentors.

In addition, Thomas worked at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) as a Teaching Assistant and as a Deputy Board Member. At NTNU, they assisted in teaching the course TIø4265 - Strategic Management and served as a board member.

Furthermore, Thomas gained valuable experience as a Full-stack Developer at CERN through their Technical Student program. Thomas was responsible for planning and developing operational web applications for CERN's Beams-department. Thomas'swork included back-end development using PHP and SQL, as well as front-end development using VueJS.

Earlier in their career, Thomas worked as a Furniture Salesman at Bohus AS and as a Garden Furniture Salesman at Ballerud Hagesenter.

Thomas is also a co-founder and co-owner of HvaHvor UB, a student company that developed a classified advertisements website and search engine for private events. The company received several awards, including "Best student company in Asker and Bærum" and "Best exhibition" at GründExpo 2013.

Thomas Hesselberg has a diverse education history. In 2010, they started attending Sandvika High School, where they pursued their high school degree with a focus on Communication and Media Studies. During this time, they also spent a year at Nordfjord Folk High School, engaging in outdoor activities. In 2011 and 2012, they expanded their studies abroad at York College in the UK, where they completed their GCE AS Level in Communication and Media Studies.

After completing high school, Thomas enrolled at Volda University College for a one-year program in Communication and Media Studies. Thomas then returned to the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Web Development from 2015 to 2017.

Thomas furthered their education by pursuing a Master's degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), specializing in the NTNU School of Entrepreneurship from 2018 to 2020. In 2019, they also attended the Questrom School of Business at Boston University for an Executive Program in Entrepreneurship.

In addition to their formal education, Thomas obtained certifications to enhance their skills. In 2012, they earned a Certificate in Advanced English (Level C1) from the University of Cambridge. In 2018, they obtained a Certificate in French (Level A1) from Supercomm Group. Most recently, in June 2021, they acquired an Appfarm Fundamentals Certification from Appfarm.
