Jorge Merino is a product manager with extensive experience in IT and software development. Currently at Appfire since April 2022, Jorge previously held product manager roles at Comalatech and also worked as a sales support engineer. Prior to those positions, Jorge served as a system administrator at Scotiabank, managing core systems and high-performance computing systems. Jorge's technical expertise includes IT architecture, demonstrated during a significant virtualization project at Lear Corporation, where more than 100 physical machines were migrated to a virtual environment. Additional experience includes roles as an IT administrator for ICEX and an IT support technician at TCI SL, alongside a background in software development and IT support during early career stages. Jorge holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Universitat Rovira i Virgili.
