Nate Fortin

Nate Fortin is an accomplished design executive currently serving as Vice-President of User Experience at AppFolio since March 2024 and as a Professor teaching an interaction design class at San Jose State University since August 2023. Previously, Nate held the position of SVP Design at Evernote, where leadership encompassed Design and Research functions to advance the company’s vision, and Sr. Design Director at Motorola Mobile Devices, collaborating with senior executives to innovate mobile device products. Early career experiences include roles as Director of Visual Interaction Design & Branding at Cooper, Marketing Manager at Motorola, and several design co-op positions. Nate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Design from the University of Cincinnati and an Associate’s in Liberal Arts and Business from Colby-Sawyer College.
