Maksim Smirnov

Maksim Smirnov has worked as a Frontend Developer since 2020 at AppFollow. Prior to that, they worked at Nexign from 2015 to 2020, starting as a Frontend Developer and then transitioning to a QA Automation Engineer. During their time at Nexign, they went from intern QA to senior automation engineer. In their last role, they assumed the role of release engineer, developing and maintaining automated tests, building CI and CD pipelines, participating in microservice architecture design, conducting interviews and mentoring new employees, and dockerizing components and writing orchestration configs.

Maksim Smirnov completed a Master's degree in Infocommunication Technologies and Communication Systems from Saint Petersburg University of Telecommunications between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Specialist degree in Maritime Information Systems from Russian State Hydrometeorological University between 2009 and 2014.
