Xinbo Geng

Xinbo Geng currently serves as an Energy Trader at Appian Way Energy Partners, LLC since April 2021. Prior to this role, Xinbo held the position of Power Analyst (Operations Research Analyst) at the same company. Xinbo's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Texas A&M University, where Geng also obtained a Master's Degree in the same field, and a Bachelor's Degree from Tsinghua University. Xinbo has extensive postdoctoral research experience at Cornell University and Texas A&M University. Additionally, Geng has contributed as a teaching fellow and assistant in various courses related to sustainable energy systems and power systems data sciences. Geng has completed internships and visiting student programs at reputable institutions including ISO New England Inc., National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and University of California, Berkeley, among others.
