Sara Lutes

Sara Lutes has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Crew Member at Trader Joe's until 2015. In the following years, they held multiple teaching roles, including High School Social Studies Teacher at Torah Academy Of Milwaukee from 2014 to 2014, Teacher at Lad Lake from 2014 to 2015, and Alternative Education Teacher at West Allis-West Milwaukee School District from 2015 to 2017. Sara then transitioned to being a High School Social Studies Teacher at Dodgeland High School from 2017 to 2020.

In 2020, Sara worked as a Test Rater at The College Board for a brief period. Sara then joined GPS Education Partners as an Instructor, where they focused on instructional design, curriculum writing, educational content writing, and in-person and virtual instruction. Sara held this role until 2022.

Additionally, Sara has served as a Board Member at RIVERWEST YOGASHALA INC since 2022. Currently, they are working as a UI Designer/Developer at Appiphony, which they started in October 2022.

Sara Lutes completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Alverno College in 2013. In 2021, they enrolled in The Complete 2022 Web Development Bootcamp - Dr. Angela Yu via Udemy, where they studied web development until 2022. Sara also holds various additional certifications, including Responsive Web Design from freeCodeCamp (obtained in December 2021), Fundamentals of Project Planning and Management, and Preparing to Manage Human Resources from Coursera Course Certificates (both obtained in May 2020). Sara has also earned the Google Certified Educator Level 1 certification from Google (obtained in May 2020). Additionally, Sara is a certified PBIS Tier III/RENEW Facilitator through the Wisconsin PBIS Network and a Quizizz Certified Teacher through Quizizz Inc. Sara holds a Wisconsin Lifetime Teaching License obtained from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
