Ketan Shah

Ketan Shah has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Ketan started their career as an Engineering Trainee at Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd., where they gained hands-on experience in purchasing various components. Ketan then worked as a Purchase Officer at Supplementary Foods India Ltd. and a Purchase Executive at EPC Industrie Ltd.

In 1998, Ketan joined George Fischer Trenton Ltd. as a Supply Chain Executive, where they handled purchase, stores, and export departments. Ketan was involved in product design, allowing him to better understand requirements.

From 2005 to 2011, Ketan worked at Zylog Plastalloys Pvt. Ltd. as a Materials Manager/ERP Manager. Ketan headed the purchase, stores, excise, and ERP departments and achieved cost savings through sourcing in-organic pigment.

In 2011, Ketan became a Senior Manager-Materials at Kimplas Piping System Ltd. Ketan led the purchase and stores department and was responsible for manufacturing pipe fittings and irrigation products for various sectors.

From 2014 to 2015, Ketan worked as a Sr. Manager at Rwenzori Commodities Ltd., providing consulting services for policy implementation and documentation in the materials department.

Most recently, Ketan joined APPL Industries Ltd. in 2015 as the Head Materials.

Ketan Shah completed their education history with two significant qualifications. From 2002 to 2005, they attended the Indian Institute of materials management, where they earned a postgraduate degree in materials management, focusing on logistics, materials, and supply chain management. Prior to that, from 1986 to 1990, they studied at Shree Bhagubhai Mafatlal Polytechnic, obtaining a diploma in mechanical engineering. In addition to their formal education, Ketan also acquired two certifications. In 2008, they obtained a certificate in central excise from Edu-gate, and in 2010, they completed a certificate course in SQL server from Aptech Computer Education.
