Mazda Marvasti has a long and varied work experience. Mazda began their career in 1994 as a Member of Technical Staff at General Motors. In 1998, they moved to The Aerospace Corporation as a Senior Member of Technical Staff. In 1999, they became the Executive Director of USWEB/CKS, where they were in charge of 34 Engineers and lead the technical integration of Columbia House music site. In 2000, they became the CTO of LowerMyBills.com, where they built the entire IT team and provided the initial architecture of the application and infrastructure that enabled the company to scale quickly. In 2001, they Co-Founded and became CTO of Integrien Corporation, where they created and formulated most of the 13 patented algorithms for complex data analysis in the Integrien flagship product Alive. In 2010, they joined VMware as VP & CTO, Cloud Management. Finally, in 2016, they Co-Founded and became CEO of AppLariat.

Mazda Marvasti received a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, an M.S.E. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Stony Brook University.
