Adelekan Oba has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Adelekan began their career as a Customer Service Advisor at Coventry University in 2019. Adelekan then worked as a Software Tester at Applause, where they closely collaborated with clients such as Vodafone, BBC, Facebook, and John Lewis. Adelekan also participated in the Generating Genius Development Pathway Program as a student, gaining valuable skills and knowledge.

In 2020, they joined Capgemini as a Software Engineer, contributing to the development of microservices in a large government account. Adelekan gained expertise in CI/CD tools, Docker containers, and front-end and back-end development. Adelekan also worked at Sitel as a COVID-19 Contact Tracer, where they successfully communicated with customers, provided guidance to isolating individuals, and assisted confirmed cases and contacts.

In 2021, Adelekan joined Jaguar Land Rover as a Software Engineer, specializing in microservices development and API testing and utilizing tools such as Gitlab, Swagger, and Grafana. Adelekan also worked as a Project Engineer Intern at National Grid and as a Software Architect for an In-Vehicle Infotainment API Architecture project at Jaguar Land Rover.

Adelekan's work experience showcases their expertise in software engineering, API design, testing, project management, and customer service. Adelekan has a strong background in various technologies and methodologies, including Java Springboot, TDD, React Next.js, JIRA/Confluence, Jenkins, and agile methodologies. Adelekan Oba began their education at Blue Coat Church of England School in 2013 and completed their GCSEs, acquiring 11 GCSEs with grades ranging from 9 to 5 (equivalent to A*-C), including Maths and English, in 2018. From 2018 to 2020, they continued their studies at the same school, focusing on subjects such as Maths, Physics, and Chemistry at A Level. Currently, from 2021 to 2025, Adelekan is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in BSc Digital & Technology Solutions with a focus on Computer Science at the University of Warwick.
