Clare Grall

Clare Grall, PhD, is a seasoned UX Researcher at Applause, where projects span various industries. Previously, as a Research Scientist at StoryFit, Clare launched a SaaS product focused on audience psychology and AI to enhance scripted media. Clare's experience includes managing comprehensive research processes for machine learning models and developing methods for the assessment of media representations. At Dartmouth College, Clare served as a Postdoctoral Researcher, conducting experimental research on audience interaction with narratives and establishing analytic frameworks for data insights. Clare's academic journey began with a PhD in Communication from Michigan State University, where notable achievements included innovative research in media psychology and neuroscience, teaching accolades, and mentorship of undergraduate and graduate students.
