Jordan King

Jordan King has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They began their career in 2010 as a Counselor at Tufts Community Music Summer Camp. They then worked as an Event Staffer and later as an Event Manager at Tufts University Department of Music from 2010 to 2012. In 2011, they also worked as an Administrative Assistant at Tufts University.

From 2012 to 2013, Jordan served as an Artistic Associate at Boston Lyric Opera. They then transitioned to the academic field and worked as an Academic Administrative Assistant at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2013 to 2015. In this role, they accomplished tasks such as course and classroom scheduling, data analysis, and technical support.

In 2015, Jordan joined Vermonster, LLC as a Web Software Developer. They developed code using technologies like Ruby on Rails and Ember. Their responsibilities included meeting customer requirements and internal company needs while maintaining code quality.

In 2018, Jordan started working at Applause as a Software Engineer before transitioning to the role of Engineering Manager in 2019. In their current position as Senior Engineering Manager, they lead an international team of full-stack web and mobile software engineers. Their major project initiatives include uTest. They have expertise in various technologies such as Ruby on Rails, React Native, Python, Java, Elixir/Erlang, Node.js, AngularJS, and Angular.

Jordan King attended Sidwell Friends School from 2004 to 2008. After graduating from high school, Jordan went on to study at Tufts University from 2008 to 2012, earning a bachelor's degree in Music. Additionally, Jordan has attended the Harvard Extension School, although the specific dates and degree program are unknown.
