Java Team Lead at Applause

Michał Lisowski has a comprehensive work experience in the field of technology and management. Michał started their career as a Webmaster at Schneider Electric in 2007 and held the role until 2009. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Junior Web Developer at the same company, where they managed and further developed the Schneider Electric TV web application. Then, from 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Java Web Developer at Schneider Electric, where they designed and developed a Java-based search engine client and was responsible for the configuration and maintenance of the deployment process. Moving on, from 2015 to 2017, they served as a Java Developer at Eniro, where they were part of a team that built a new customer portal with a reporting engine. Additionally, they spent a majority of their time building frontends in Angular 1.x and integrating external APIs in the backend. Following this, from 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Java Developer at DSV - Global Transport and Logistics. Michał'sresponsibilities included developing Java applications and implementing software solutions. In 2018, they joined KMD as a Java Consultant, where they provided consultancy services in Java. Finally, since October 2019, they have been working as an Engineering Manager at Applause. In this role, they are responsible for technical and people management for a team of highly skilled fullstack developers. Michał also supports recruitment efforts and collaborates with business stakeholders on requirements and long-term goals.

Michał Lisowski pursued their education in the field of engineering and robotics. From 2004 to 2006, they attended the Warsaw University of Technology, specializing in Mechatronics. Following that, from 2006 to 2009, Michał enrolled at the DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where they obtained their MSc. in Electrical Engineering, focusing on Automation and Robotics. In addition to their academic achievements, they also obtained an ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in June 2018.
