Sarah Sacco

Sarah Sacco has a diverse range of work experience. Sarah started their career as a Secondary Language Arts Teacher at Chandler Unified School District in 2009 and worked there until 2014. During this time, they led the Datawise school improvement team, taught and assessed curriculum, and worked with various types of students.

After that, Sarah transitioned into the role of an Instructional Specialist at the same school district from 2014 to 2016. In this position, they delivered professional development training, conducted teacher observations, and managed curriculum projects and literacy initiatives.

In 2016, Sarah joined Applause as a QA Functional/Usability Tester. Sarah reviewed app and software specifications, executed manual test cases, and reported bugs and errors to development teams. Sarah worked closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the app and software development lifecycle.

Over the years, Sarah progressed within Applause and held various positions. Sarah worked as a Test Team Lead, where they communicated with testers, supported the testing processes, and triaged issue reports. Sarah then became a Test Engineer 1, where they set up test cycles, recruited community testers, and monitored testing progress. Later, they became a Test Engineer 2, managing a team and assisting with testing strategy. Currently, they are a Test Engineer 3, responsible for managing the Testing Services Team, supporting the Technical Program Manager, and analyzing key collection metrics.

Outside of their experience in the education and technology sectors, Sarah also served as an Academic Coach and Dean of Students at Chandler Unified School District. As an Academic Coach, they led professional learning communities, assisted principals with teacher observation, and supported curriculum implementation. As a Dean of Students, they provided behavior and academic support, utilized social media for communication, and monitored the school website.

Overall, Sarah Sacco has a strong background in education, with expertise in instructional support, professional development, and curriculum management. Sarah has also gained significant experience in the technology industry, specifically in software testing and quality assurance.

Sarah Sacco's education history begins in 2006 when they enrolled at Arizona State University for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education and Teaching. Sarah completed their undergraduate studies in 2009. Following this, from 2009 to 2010, Sarah pursued a Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Arizona State University. After a gap in their education, they then returned to Arizona State University in 2014 to pursue a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership. Sarah completed their studies in 2016.
