Matt Karnick

Matt Karnick has a diverse work experience starting as a Computer Technician at Geek Squad in 2009. Matt then worked as an IT Support Technician at Elim Care, Inc. from 2010 to 2012, followed by a role as System Administrator from 2012 to 2013. Matt transitioned to become a Network Systems Manager at Elim Care, Inc. from 2013 to 2018. In 2019, they joined Cassia - An Augustana | Elim Affiliation as a Network Systems Manager until 2022. Matt then worked as an Infrastructure Engineer at Allina Health for a short period in 2022. Currently, they are serving as a Deputy Fire Chief at the City of Apple Valley, MN.

Matt Karnick completed their education at Brown College from 2008 to 2011, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Technology. In addition to their degree, they also obtained several certifications including Microsoft Technology Associate from Microsoft in June 2013, CompTIA Security+ in December 2010, CompTIA Network+ in October 2010, and CompTIA A+ in May 2010.
